Having thoroughly enjoyed the previous three novels in A Song of Fire and Ice as well as HBO’s Game of Thrones, I was thoroughly looking forward to reading this, and was also disappointed when I was finished. Whereas Martin’s previous novels were tight, and loaded with drama and intrigue, this one w...

I enjoy each of the books, but appreciate the additional detail as the series goes on. it's interesting listening to the book vs wstching the series. there are lots of twists and turns that make it interesting to compare and ponder why they chose that path. Looking forward to the next book.

Utterly exciting, full of schemes, plot twists and three-dimensional characters, that made me anxious to read more. I am so glad that I took the precaution of checking out A Dance With Dragons from my library in anticipation of finishing A Feast For Crows and also bringing ADWD with me today. I will be starting that book during my lunch break and can hardly wait. This won't be a full review, but I will just not...
