When I was in MD for Thanksgiving, my sister-in-law told me about this book that her daughter was reading. When my niece came home from school that day, she was telling us about the book and since I had not been there for the beginning of the book, she told me about the book. I was interested and lo...

absolutely amazing read, but incredibly difficult. i don't think i've been so happy for a character to die since i first saw a film of Oliver Twist as a kid (man, my dad was so pissed at me for being happy that the villain dies).

My, my, my....I am at a loss for words (in a good way); Khaled Hosseini has done it again . I might need to take a day to regroup and come back and write my review. I highly recommend this novel! Engaging, riveting, and heart wrenching ... I loved every moment of it. The characters, the plot, the...
