This is very fast read, because the author doesn't use any filler which is probably why certain things occur as if by magic since the reader is not privy to events happening in the background (like a good portion of the investigation). I love all Kava books. This was not her greatest novel but it was still a great read.I wish it would have been longer and gone deeper into character development.
