First I've read of Ms. Kendall. She knocked this little short story out of the park! Hot and steamy, well developed characters, it was quite good! I'll have to read more in the series.
Picked this one up for free on Amazon. Short and sweet, this one was surprisingly well-developed for a novella. I loved the angst of the situation (needing to be engaged over a kiss in the garden, as well as the heroine's "secret past"), and the chemistry was delicious. I was a little disappointed...
This was a fun quick read, and I liked that characters so much I have bought the rest of the books in the series. Quite light, and true historical romance with a final HEA.Excellent to read in between more heavy stuff, not much thinking required :)
