This is going to be quite a short review, I fear. I am having difficulty coming up with words for my opinion on Amy & Roger's Epic Detour.Amy Curry was in a car accident several months before the start of this story. An accident in which her father died. With her brother, Charlie, shipped off to ...
Rating: 4 Stars Based from the title, the cover and blurb, you would think that this book is mainly about Amy and Roger's epic love story that bloomed during an unexpected roadtrip across the different parts of America. That's what I thought, too. Well it is, but not entirely. In a nutshell, it's ab...
This audiobook was flippin' adorable! It's about love and loss and everything in between, but it still remains quirky and totally fun-filled in the process. I adore road trip books, maybe more than any other subject matter, because they are so filled with possibilities. You just never know what's...
In a sentence or so: A boy and a girl who are pretty much strangers go on a road trip across the country and much non cheesy soul searching and self discovery transpires. It's a simple road trip story featuring two young people who come to know and like each other. Amy, during the trip, has some stuff to work through, having suffer...
“Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour”, es un libro fascinante, entra en la categoría On-Road, así que si te gustan los libros de viajes, como a mí, lo vas a amar. Está acompañado de una más que excelente banda sonora: Elvis, Wicked, Mika, RENT, entre musicales, oldies, Rock&Roll e Indies. Lo interesante es qu...

The Detour...
There were parts that rated a 3, but overall, this story was just ok for me. I guess I can't appreciate a book that is so open-ended. I need closure or an epilogue or something. I don't know, it just was anti climatic I guess.
