A re-telling of the story of Noah with a unique focus on the psychology and emotion of the Great Flood.

The story of Noah's Ark is well known. There are those who hold to it as uncorrupted truth; there are those who regard it as an uncorroborated fable— but what cannot be denied is the reality that sometimes a man can be given a task that seems too much for him to bear, and that sometimes you can do nothing to prevent the loss of the world around you.

This is the story of Noah, told in a way that you would never imagine or expect. It is the end of the world (the first time), and, as such, it does not fall short of that apocalyptic ambition.

ANCIENT is a story about survival; it is a story about the human spirit. It is a paradox of wet and dry, of safety and doom. Beneath the surface, there is a moral of repentance and a message of hope.

It's one thing to imagine what life was like inside the Ark— but dare one imagine what it was like on the outside?

1.5 Ancient: Rise of Noah by Celdon Daniel
This seemed to be more of the story of the people caught outside of the ark during the flood, but it was strangely written and at times hard to follow. I could not get into it. DNF'd at 42%. (I thought the cover of the book was kinda cool though)
