Themis-Athena's Garden of Books
Pretty much the entire "Medieval Murderers" series is based on this premise -- the first book is "The Tainted Relic" (ISBN 9781416502135).
Murder by Death
Added - thanks TA!
Portable Mistletoe
Any of the Lord of the Rings, including The Hobbit ISBN 0618260307 (the One Ring). In Strange Weather ISBN 0062663119 (Joe Hill), the novella "Snapshot" has a magical/supernatural camera.
Murder by Death
Added - thanks for the ISBNs PM. :)
Portable Mistletoe
I'm planning to count "Charlie the Choo Choo" ISBN 1534401237 (Beryl Evans/Stephen King) for the train. It's never really explained, but I'm interpreting Blaine/Charlie as a supernatural manifestation. So I guess you could include the Dark Tower books that include Blaine, "The Waste Lands" ISBN 0670032565 and "Wizard and Glass" ISBN 0340829788
Murder by Death
Added.
The better to see you, my dear
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman
The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling

Any of the Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan
Any of the Fever Books, by Karen Marie Moning
Any of the Sword of Truth books, by Terry Goodkind
Any of the Penryn and the End of Days books, by Susan Ee
Murder by Death
I've added those you've supplied titles for; my memory isn't the finely honed weapon it once was, and I'm at work atm, so even though I've read the Penryn books, I can't actually remember a single title. And i've never read any of the others so I'm especially useless.

If you supply the title of book 1 for each series, I'll add it, with a note that any of the series books qualifies.
The better to see you, my dear
Oh, sorry, yeah.

The Eye of the World (first of the Wheel of Time books) by Robert Jordan
Darkfever (first Fever Books), by Karen Marie Moning
Wizard's First Rule (first Sword of Truth books), by Terry Goodkind
Angelfall (first Penryn and the End of Days books), by Susan Ee
Murder by Death
Got 'em - thanks!
The better to see you, my dear
Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury (the merry-go-round)
Needful Things by Stephen King (the locket at least)
Rose Madder by Stephen King (the painting)
Christine by Stephen King (the titling car)

Any of the Dark Materials books, by Philip Pullman
Murder by Death
Added titles listed - see above response about series. :)
The better to see you, my dear
The Golden Compass (first of Dark Materials books), by Philip Pullman
Murder by Death
Added it.
The better to see you, my dear

Murder by Death
Added titles. :)
The better to see you, my dear
Heart Mate (first of the Celta's Heartmates books), by Robin D. Owens
Murder by Death
Added and noted.
Portable Mistletoe
I forgot about those dolls! I haven't done Duma Key on audio, maybe this is a good time to revisit the story in a new format.
The better to see you, my dear

Wow. Someone was on a roll ... :D
Murder by Death
slow day at work. ;-)
Themis-Athena's Garden of Books
I actually meant both of you -- Tbtsymd to start with, and you doing your level best to catch up! :D
The better to see you, my dear
Lol! It was so sad to see this so short, and my shelves so stuffed with fantasy bent books chock-full of magical objects
Themis-Athena's Garden of Books
That's the way to do it! :D And MbD has definitely seen worse from me ...
The better to see you, my dear
That's kind of a relief, because I was waiting for the "enough already! I'm going to sleep", and instead I kept getting "added" between bouts, or "more info, please", lol
Themis-Athena's Garden of Books
If you want to help her, include ISBNs -- it's the easiest and fastest way to find books in Booklikes's search system, especially as "search all books" is cut off after a certain number of books (at least for purposes of adding to lists), and searching by author and / or title, for whatever "behind the scenes" reason, won't necessarily always yield the correct book within the permitted max. number (especially if the book isn't in the database yet). Searching by ISBN will, at the same time, cause the book to be imported here if it's not in the database yet.
Lora's Rants and Reviews
Oooh, Eye of the World is on my really-want-to-read-soon tbr and in my Kindle!
