Uff. Das ist 11 Jahre her. Mehr als ein Jahrzehnt. Damals verliebte ich mich Hals über Kopf in An...

Ive read the early books in this series quite a few times but there still a good quick read. It only took me a day and a half to read this book. Anita Blake just wants to be a necromancer but she always gets sucked into the world of creatures that go bump in the night and sometimes if the court orde...

It wasn't what I was expecting from book, it kept me interested in the overall story. The main character, Anita was hard to related to in the begin with, but as the book went along you hard some idea on what she was doing and why she was doing it. "I'm afraid of them. It is a very natural human trait to destroy that which frightens us.""Most people spend their lives avoiding things they fear. You run after them. That's crazy."He had a point. I closed the door and left him standing in the hot dark. I raised the dead and laid the undead to rest...

As far as vampire hunter type books go, I had trouble getting into this one. I didn't love the main character by a long shot which made the story hard to get into.

I read this book back in high school around the age of 16, and I can remember loving it (which led me to read the next 10 or so books around the same time - however, I had to give up in Narcissus in Chains because well... if you've read it, you know).I re-read it this time around for the Vaginal Fan...
