I'm a huge fan of Saul's works! He is indeed one of the true masters of literary horror!
Creepy read, but I thought it was kind of young for a piece of adult literature. I will still read more books by John Saul as I did enjoy the storyline and the writing style.
This a horror story without much horror. The hauntings are strictly pro forma, as are the obligatory abusive parents and school bullies. "Black Creek Crossing" has few original story elements, and even the spirit-infested house has few descriptions worthy of even a tingle.The two teenaged protagonis...
