i think haruki murakami is one of very few authors who can strike a chord with me. his stories about loneliness are always amazingly good. this one is no exception. contains 24 short stories - it is a wonderful collection

Much like all his other works this is an amazing collection, although, for me it comes in second place to "The Elephant Vanishes". I still have much love for this delicious compilation. My favorites were,"The Seventh Man", "The Rise and Fall of Sharpie Cakes", "The Mirror", and "A Shinagawa Monkey".
