Monsters walk this world. All kinds of monsters. Titus Talbot is one of them. A werewolf by birth, Titus has used his monstrous powers for good as a member of the Indestructibles, a team of young heroes who have faced everything from sentient hurricanes to living plagues. But Titus has always been the outsider in the group. They're his friends and allies, yes, but he also feels the call of the wild, his feral, vulpine nature demanding to be set free. And so, sometimes, he'll take his leave of the team to let his inner predator out. But what happens when the predator becomes prey? Titus encounters a very different monster from himself, on the run from the mortal hunters stalking her. She pulls Titus into a violent conflict, mankind against creature of the night, with no way of knowing who is right and who is wrong. Will TItus help save his fellow monster? And what can she teach him about the life he has ahead of him as a werewolf?
