This is my first Cynthia Eden read, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!! FAR from it!I'd heard a lot of good things about this book before picking it up. An from all my paranormal readings, I'd never read a book about a phoenix. And the cover is pretty, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to look ...
The heroine has a lot of TSTL moments, but then she randomly comes out with something so fucking brilliant that I have no idea how I feel about this book. Interesting story, worth a read. But I dunno about this heroine, man. I dunno.

Well written and developed, it does have a familiar feel to it since I read quite a lot of shifter books but putting that aside its well written and developed. I have mixed feelings for Cain's personality and Eve all around. It wasn't that neither of them weren't likable it just felt like Eve should...
