I was a bit surprised that I ended up loving this story so much. The first 7 chapters, when Aiden was getting physically and psychologically abused by Scott, was extremely difficult to read. However, I also felt that it was the only way the rest of the story would have felt believable to me. Othe...
I put off reading this one for a while since I'd heard the first part of it was really harsh. And it was... harsh, brutal in fact, especially since Aiden could not figure himself out and part of him was getting satisfaction from abuse and rape. The slowly developing DD relationship between Aiden and ...
This book was a bit Jekyll and Hyde for me. I found the first half of it almost unbearable to read and came pretty close to DNF'ing it but was too curious to see how Aiden was going to get himself out of the hell he was in to stop reading. I guess this was just too hardcore for me, the barrage of de...

Why the heck did he call Keaton later and act all...normal? I mean, I understand that real people are multi-dimensional a...
Odd little couple with an odd kink. The first part of By His Rule was painful and ugly. The second part was the healing. Aiden became a whiny, wimpy character who even noticed he'd became this way. Keaton was interesting but I just thought they were all a bit off.
I really enjoyed this book. The romance was somewhat weak, but I still liked the characters and the progression of the story was great. My favorite thing about this book was the characterization of the ex-dom, Scott. The author didn't take the easy way out and make him a super evil villain type. He ...
