I still love Kinsey, but this was not my favorite book.I got frustrated halfway through because it felt like it was just going in circles and it was a little boring. It did come together in the end, and nicely, just getting there was an issue for me.Still, I look forward to reading the next mystery i...

This book is told in reverse - we're told at the very beginning who the "C" is, just not why. Even so, Grafton made me care, and care a lot, about the victim. There is a lot of character development going on in this book - we see Kinsey becoming an emotionally three dimensional main character, wit...

Wow. This book was great. Great writing, better development with characters, a nice side plot involving Henry and Rosie, and a great ending. Kinsey in book number three I think finally gives you enough yo want to stick with her. You hear about the accident that left her orphaned. Other characters...

I really enjoyed this. The best of the series so far. Despite her saying that Bobby was dead in the first page, I was still upset when it actually happened.

One of the things I love about the Kinsey Milhone series is that they are anything but formulaic. Every story is new and fresh. The case Kinsey has taken on is brought to her by a young man who was nearly killed in a automobile accident. Everyone believes it was just an accident except the boy hims...

Plot A was believable and moving. Kinsey's dedication to find and give herself and Glen closure, to give sense to Bobby's murder is compelling and very readable. It aged with grace and can be read for what it is a mystery set in the mid to late eighties. Plot B was predictable and is the part I reme...

I am warming up to ol' Kinsey. This one kept me guessing on the murderer but I knew Lila was bad news from the getgo. Pleasant easy read. I'll keep reading the series as long as they stay interesting. I like the characters and there is always something afoot.

C is for Corpse did a better job at hiding the villain's identity until the end of the book than the previous installments. I liked Bobby's character, but there was still some very irritating writing sprinkled into this book. I feel like the author is trying too hard at some points. A sentence lik...

My Series Sunday pick is C is for Corpse, the 3rd book in the Kinsey Millhone alphabet mystery series by Sue Grafton. On Monday, Bobby Calahan met with Private Investigator Kinsey Millhone because he thought someone was trying to kill him. By Thursday, he was dead. Kinsey only has one clue: a little...

Plot Summary/Synopsis: He was young -- maybe twenty or so -- and he must once have been a good-looking kid. Kinsey could see that. But now his body was covered in scars, his face half-collapsed. It saddened Kinsey and made her curious. She could see he was in a lot of pain. But for three weeks, as K...
