I’m so sad that I read this as fast as I did. I wish I could have paced myself, stretched it out longer than just two days. Unfortunately I wasn’t in control. The book had it’s claws deep inside me; all I could was hold on tight as it took me on a ride. For my full review, see Birdie Bookworm.

There is no way I can write a review that will do this book any justice. It is beautifully written, with characters you will fall in love with. And it does a great job describing what it's like living with autism or depression/anxiety.I would recommend this book to everyone. Even if MM isn't your thi...

It's been over a week and I find myself still doing that staring off into space thinking about it thing. Pretty sure anything I put down won't do it just...

Carry The Ocean by Heidi Cullinan is a wonderful book about two boys falling in love with each other. But what makes this book stand out, are the main characters. Emmet Washington is a college student double majoring in math and computer science. But he is also autistic. Jeremy Samson on the other h...

4.5 stars. Heidi Cullinan gets inside the heads of autistic savant Emmet and depressive Jeremey and brings them to life. Emmet's supportive parents contrast with Jeremey's disastrous ones. The boys strive to carve out a future together despite the hurdles they must overcome.https://www.youtube.com/w...
