“I am a man" he told her, "and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone woman, and bring me something brown.”   The struggle has been real when it comes to this series, I've made no qualms about sharing my feelings in regards to the first two books. I was left feeling pretty underwhelmed a...

This third installment in Cassandra Clare’s Ode to Harry Potter was not quite as fun to hate as the second. I blame the faux incest romantic angst, which was dialed up to unbearable levels. At least there were some decent plot twists and character development. Also, this is the book in which everybo...

Amid the chaos of war, the Shadowhunters must decide to fight with the vampires, werewolves and other Downworlders - or against them. Meanwhile, Jace and Clary have their own decision to make: Should they pursue the love they know is forbidden? This book so far in the series was my favorite. ...

I know that there are three more books in this series, but this felt like the end of a trilogy? Are we sure that the next three books aren't new trilogy? Clarey was very similar to how she's been in the last two books. She's frustrating, stubborn, impulsive, brave, loving and stupid. I know that she...

⭐5 stars⭐Malachi scowled. "I don't remember the Clave inviting you into the Glass City, Magnus Bane.""They didn't," Magnus said. "Your wards are down.""Really?" the Consul's voice dripped sarcasm. "I hadn't noticed."Magnus looked concerned. "That's terrible. Someone should have told you." He glanced...

TLDR: If I was 10 I might have liked these books but at 27 I find them super obnoxious. This book was a hot mess of predictability and really seemed to lack creativity. I don't know that I'll be picking up any more of these books because they really aren't good, but as I've said before they are r...

This one actually gets a full 4 stars. The author did a good job of making me want to slap the hellfire out of Clary, Jace, Alec, and some others I'm sure.On the mobile app again so, Spoilers Ahead:This gave us an all-access pass into Valentine's head. And while he was a complete and total lunati...

Why would someone who plagiarized get away with it and get load of money? That's bad behaviors. It discouraged originality. This writer should not copy from Buffy the Vampire slayer, one of my favor TV series. Shameful behavior should be made public.

Synopsis To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters - never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, a...

In my opinion, this series definitely got better as it went along. By the time I read this book, I was super into the storyline. I did figure out the deal with Sebastian and Jace as soon as Sebastian's character was introduced, but I still think that was an excellent twist. I love Jace's characte...
