Claire Cray specializes in M/M romance and stories of an offbeat nature. Her tales feature intelligent characters and a vivid sense of atmosphere, never without a touch of humor. Claire has a deep love of fairy tales, mythology, sarcasm and the supernatural, and her books are sure to include at least one of those elements -- sometimes all of them.

Born in a strange little village in the Pacific Northwest, Claire was raised on rain, trees, and spooky stories. An addiction to misadventure has carried her from the backwoods of Oregon to Portland, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York, where she currently resides.

This was a little too stretched out (especially the first half, which mostly consisted of William pining after Merrick), but otherwise a rather pleasant reading experience. If vampires are among your favourite fantasy creatures, and you like romance, you will probably also enjoy this series. Still, ...
