"Clean" is an excellent start to what I hope will be a long-running series. It succeeds on many levels. It is a gripping story of a police investigation of a serial killer that draws upon familiar archetypes - a cop/consultant with a shady past and an addiction problem who has a strong, beautiful...

I liked the idea behind the book, but I just couldn't get into the characters. I didn't like how his partner was always jumping down his throat for every little thing. I think the setting and the idea behind the series has potential, if only I could come to enjoy and care about the characters.

A good kind of guilty pleasure read. Just not great. and the ending wherby our hero telepath goes darker and deeper than the evil telepath 10 times stronger than he is a little too much of a stretch.

MY THOUGHTSLOVED ITAfter the TechWars have devastated the United States, people no longer rely on electronics since they were able to develop into senescent beings. Parts of the country have been ruined and the police are still trying to get ahead of the bad guys. Told in the first person, a telep...
