As expected, the book follows Sookie Stackhouse, the telepathic waitress from Bon Temps through another set of adventures filled with tension, mystery and a healthy dose of supernatural. After the mishaps from the previous books, the romance gets pushed on the back burner. Vampire Bill seems less in...

I couldn't remember why I'd rated this one lower than the first two, but pretty quickly I found out again. For one thing, Sookie--while still a mostly strong and independent woman in this book--was so whiny and just...not the Sookie I'd come to love from the first two books. I get it, though. Real p...

Let me just tell you, after reading this I am so Team Eric, it's ridiculous. Screw you, Bill Compton!I am outraged for Sookie, on her behalf, mostly because she doesn't have the sense to be adequately outraged for herself apparently. Bill ditched her, simple as that. He went running off to do the qu...

Not as good as the previous 2 novels in the series but better than average plot. It follows True Blood almost exactly (or rather the other way around).

This review is full of spoilers.I liked this Sookie Stackhouse book better than the previous two. I liked the relationship between Alcide and Sookie, maybe because they didn't just jump into it declaring their love from the get go. I don't really enjoy Bill as a character and even less so as one hal...

Opening Line: Bill was hunched over the computer when I let myself in his house. CLUB DEAD is the third instalment from the Sookie Stackhouse series and I really enjoyed this one, having finally come to terms with the fact that this is urban fantasy and not paranormal romance. I was able to focus ...

I actually read this one out of order by accident. This was a great story and I was surprised that it wasn't dependent of the book before it. I must say that I really liked the new characters in this one, especially Alcide. He just might be better for Sookie than Bill, but Sam's still in the running...

There's only one vampire Sookie Stackhouse is involved with (at least voluntarily) and that's Bill. But recently he's been kind of distant - like in another state distant. Bill's sinister and sexy boss Eric has an idea where to find him, which is why Sookie ends up in Jackson, Mississippi, mingling ...

I wanted to provide my review for just the first seven of the series, because they are the best. The rest from book eight onward just slowly trickle downhill. I was impressed with this series and it was one of the first that I got enveloped in with the characters and it's written in it's entirety a...
