Read this so long ago. Just remember thinking the heroine's antics were off the chain...somehow I grow tedious of these women who have to fight and fight, only to succumb to the obvious..but I realize it is the quintessential recipe for sparks.
I found this to be a fascinating story. I wanted to stay up all night and finish but, alas, my mind and body had other ideas.
