Soooo do any of these stories ever end up with everyone dead? Because monsters do that in other stories. Also it seems completely wrong when they don't bother to at least hint at the monster on the book cover. At least the dino porn knows to do that!
For some of these books I totally want the humans to be eaten and not in a sexual way. lol
The goofy thing seems to be that the authors want to give a sort of happy ending? I guess? Otherwise you'd think the monster would go for sex *and* dinner from its victims. Does anyone ever say "wait these are carnivores?!"
Maybe it's Beauty taming the Beast? I have no idea. lol
