There was no author entry for "Scott Bell" in the system -- or if there was, the system didn't find it. I've created one.

Can you give me links to the book pages for all the Scott Bell books in your library, please? Even if the author name has manually been corrected there in the interim, I'd like to make sure we have *one single* author entry for the name Scott Bell. The reason why the system doesn't find it may be that there are several "Scott Bell" author records with only one book each attached to them -- which would give them insignificant weight in the system's automatic search for the author, next to "James Scott Bell" (which turns out to be an author with a lot of books, most of them properly attributed to his name). (The system automatically assigns books to the author name with the greatest weight among the search results, and if you want to correct it, you get a selection of three names -- which currently don't include Scott Bell at all, so if it's in the system already, it's currently being considered too insignificant to show up.)

I won't get around to this until later today, but I share your frustration, so I'd like to get this one right if I possibly can.

So, you need the links to the books I've added to my shelves for Scott Bell? Wait, I just went to my shelves and the books are now showing Scott Bell as the author on their book pages. But I can't seem to find Yeager's Getaway and I know I reviewed that one last year. Hmmmm...
I've imported a paperback edition for "Yeager's Getaway" from Amazon. If you can find the ISBN or ASIN of the edition you reviewed, we can tie it to that newly-imported edition.

Is this all of them, though -- the ones I edited earlier this morning and "Yeager's Getaway"?

Thank you! I can add the Kindle editions later, no problem. It was so frustrating not having the correct author name on his books. I've also read Working Stiffs and he has a new book called May Day that I'll be reading soon.
OK. Here's what the complete catalogue looks like at the moment (including "Working Stiffs" and "May Day"):

Click on the cover images or the book titles (in bold print) to get to each individual book. To create a new edition of any given book and combine it with the existing one, click on the "add a new edition" link at the right side of the individual book pages. (If you create a new edition *that* way, the correct author name will already be pre-entered on the editing screen, and the editions will be auto-combined.) Hope this helps!

Yay!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I always use the "add a new edition" feature for the format I'm using if it's not available. :)
You're welcome. :)
