Bookish, thanks for the background info.
Hard to believe it's been happening for thirteen years.

I feel sort of weird for not having seen it. Mainly because I usually make a point of watching weird pop culture stuff, and this definitely falls under weird!

I don't think I've ever seen it, but then I'm not into tv much at all. And I'd just see all those cute puppies and want to take them all home. And then I'd cry.

They are all Pet Finder or shelter dogs and they are all adopted out - I loved finding that part out. In fact there's usually so many people wanting to adopt them that there's never been a problem finding them homes. But yeah working there every year, I would want to take one home.

There's also a kitten bowl.

Yes! That's mentioned briefly in the article - I'd actually like to see that after reading this (kittens are apparently hard to get enough action shots with) just because it sounds like it'd be really difficult to edit. Also you rock for reminding me - just able to find out it's on the Hallmark channel.

I've only looked at the websites for both of these and already I feel overwhelmed with the cute!

Thoroughly enjoyed this post. You, my dear, are VERY informed. I have never watched Puppy Bowl but I knew it existed. Beings I enjoy the company of animals much more than humans, I think I'll watch this next year instead. In the meantime, I'm clicking the kitten bowl link now. That is something I must see.

Btw, the kittens at the bowl are referred to as cat-letes. Cracked me up!!

I had completely missed that name for the cats!

I pulled it up on the big screen. My cats loved watching this. I have two Ragdolls, Archie n Evie. Bro n sis. Evie is STILL watching. If anything, it's great entertainment for my cats. And who knows. They might even be cat-letes themselves!
