Yumm... Even as a kid, my uber-catholic mom was pretty blasé about shrove Tuesday - which is weird because it's a holiday for eating lots of cream, fat, carbs, etc. and she's usually a big fan of all those things (as am I). So I always forget about Shrove Tuesday until Ash Wednesday ... and feel totally robbed.

I might have pancakes tonight anyway. :)

I know the feeling when you discover you missed Pancake Day. It happened last year. And even tho I am happy to make pancakes any day of the year, I felt disappointed, too.

Not so this year.
I had leftovers. "Had" because they were delicious for breakfast. ;D

I like my pancakes with ice-cream... and chocolate sauce if there is, otherwise some cinnamon and finely ground sugar.
