I would be going crazy now...hopefully it's a good read, a little dash of serendipity.

(a couple years' back, the World's Largest Superstore sent me a pair of child-size roller blades instead of a new release book. Took me 2 weeks to get it sorted out and get my book.)

I don't even want to ask how they confused child-size roller blades with a book.

The thing is that I was really hoping to have the book by now and be able to read it while the reason for ordering - i.e. the reason why it looked interesting - is still fresh on my mind.

And, yeah, who know, the Germain book might be excellent. I probably would never have heard of it if it hadn't turned in the post this morning. :D
In German??? I could only get my hands on a English translation. I wonder how it sound in German.

No, both are in English. I'm waiting for World of Books to respond to my email. Maybe they still have the book and can replace it.

Good luck getting the book!

Better World Books has this:

https://www.betterworldbooks.com/product/detail/Lucios-Confession-9781873982808

It's from a third party seller and doesn't ship directly from BWB.

BWB seems to be out of stock, which is why I turned to Ammy in the first place.
Normally BWB is my go to place. :D They have a depot just 2 hours south of here where I think most of their UK stock is located.

I'll find it. I just need to first see if the original seller is able to replace it.

I'm seeing four copies (used, very good) for $11.06 USD each. The seller is "Books from California CA, USA". Maybe that seller doesn't ship out of the US?

It's probably that they don't ship to the UK.

There are plenty of copies available here. It is just that the two I tried to order went AWOL.

I wish you all the best in getting your hands on it. Hopefully the original seller is able to replace it!

Thank you. I have no doubt that I will find it eventually, but I have just never had two orders of the same book go wrong. :)
