It is.
It's full of anachronisms btw. which apparently upset some readers (I've just been reading some of the reviews on GR...) but I didn't mind them in this. It's not meant to be accurate, as I read it. More of a modern imagination.

Have you read Burgess's "A Dead Man in Deptford" -- and if yes, how does it compare? I'm asking because I'm reminded a bit of "Nothing Like the Sun".
