Thanks. This one was fun writing. Erm, as for Christie, this one is pretty typical but I'd probably recommend a Poirot one like The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. My first read was Three Act Tragedy, which I loved, but I can't remember if it was as good as some of the other ones - hence the re-read.
Whichever one you pick, don't pick "Curtain". It is the last of Poirot stories - and although absolutely brilliant - it needs to be read as the last book.
Thanks. I'm currently re-reading some of her stories. Tommy and Tuppence have not previously captured my attention as much as Poirot and some other stories but I am planning to re-read The Secret Adversary and N or M?.

Some Christie's early one's (The Secret of Chimneys and The Big Four) are not that great. There are some helpful comments from fellow BLikers on here: http://brokentune.booklikes.com/post/774244/the-secret-of-chimneys .
Hope this helps. :-)
