I tried the first one and didn't really get very far into it. I should probably have given it a bit longer but there are too many books and too little time, as they say :)

This one was WAY better than the 1st book IMO. I really like the world she has created and of I have a weakens for the tortured heroes

I loved this book as well! really loved the two of them and the way they fit together! I must say that she is still funny in the next books but in a way she became sort of a caricature of herself. I don't know, I liked her far less as the books progressed. (and yeah, I'm behind on my reading. all of it, my books, fellow reviews.. all of it..)

yeah these two ended up being one of my favourite couples. That's too bad that her character becomes less likable. Some times authors try to hard to recreate what was funny (or whatever) the first time round and it doesn't work.

That a precise description! I think that she tried to get the "girls together" in a way but it somehow didn't work as well as in the book they were the MC in..
