I thought the part where Catherine is having a stroke was done well (been there, done that). I did think that it had too much "and then I had another lover" and not enough "here's how I ran a great empire." I agree, probably easier to read in print than listen to, given its prose style.

I agree that the descriptions of her inner thoughts and feelings as her body betrayed her were very well written.
