What?! Don't like historical fiction? How are we friends?
Joking aside, The Crown is a Tudor era suspense novel, so it may appeal to mystery readers as well. What do you prefer to read?
Ok, it may take me some time to read. There is sooo much going at the moment, and I really want to The Silence of the North which has been waiting patiently on my night stand for weeks. So, will read this in parallel.
Btw, come to think of it, the book about the first woman to circumnavigate the world in a car I've started is fiction - it is a true story but it's not written as a serious/academic biography. So, I do read historical fiction but maybe focusing on more modern history. ;)
I get about as modern as WWII, but I tend to have a gap between the Tudor era and WWI that I'm not as educated about other than the occasional Revolutionary War or Civil War book. Medieval is my addiction.
Is it ok if I have to skip some months? Between a stack I've already committed to read & my work schedule, I might not be able to finish a book within the month.

Nonfiction history works too!
