I liked this a bit better but I totally agree with you about the vague worldbuilding and the whole focus on the heroine being ugly but at the same time trying to make out others who were attractive as being bad. I felt that was really forced and definitely ironic with Watson being cast in it. I also doubt she would put on weight for this role. But I liked the ideas but the execution wasn't that great
