Like you, I cannot really pick a 'favorite', but Spirited Away...... Wow.

I did. It was kind of a disaster because this isn't a kids movie really at all, but they suffered through alright. I wanted to go so bad, and it's cheaper to drag them than hire a sitter. It's not that it's gory or violent or anything; it's just that it's crazy boring. My son asked me where all the woodland sprites went. And it's true: this is 99.9% woodland sprite free, which is not usual for Miyazaki.
I really can't name a single Miyazaki I don't enjoy watching or rewatching, if I'm in the right mood. And I'm pretty sure I've seen them all. (Actually I just thought of one right this second: Porco Rosso, I've only ever seen once, and didn't like that much)
That's not my favorite either. My kids seem to like it, so maybe it's demographics.
Mine went through a period of watching Pom Poko daily, for what seemed like months. I was a bit over it back then, but I still love it, now I've had a break. I think my all time favourite has to be Totoro, my daughters were 13 and 4 when I got that DVD, and it so perfectly captured their relationship it was magical. Also, catbus!
Catbus! One of the neighbor kids was working her parents really hard to get her this Totoro bed she saw online. I don't think it happened, sadly.
