I can totally identify with this! I am a spoiled rotten wife by proxy: because no one wants to disturb the Easter cat when she's on my lap (she looks so sweet and purrs so loudly), MT waits on me WAY more than I personally deserve. I also get a lot more reading in when she's on my lap. Mustn't disturb the kitty! ;-)
"Mustn't disturb the kitty" ... it's also a great reason not to vacuum!

I do this too. "Oh, could you get me some more iced tea? I don't want to disturb Jeffrey." Jeffrey is our rescue cat and he came with that name. Only problem being when he's happy and purring? He drools. :)
Wasabi did the drooling thing for a little bit after arriving here. But he's stopped, thank goodness. In theory a state of happiness that causes drooling is a great thing, but in practice, lol, not so much. :)
