I don’t have Facebook, but I want to wish you the best in your new venture! I use a similar local service when I have to travel on business. It really reduces the stress for both me and my cat... especially for me since my sitter texts me every day and sometimes includes a picture.
Thanks. I'm planning on doing the same if the client wants ... texts or emails. :-)

I love this! I have been pondering this idea for a while and I love that you ventured into it. I usually have my children watch our cat while we travel but this week I visited a Pet Boarding and Daycare center as I thought my kids might be getting tired of watching him. With not enough room for him to move in the cages and seeing the other cats bored, I was not impressed. I told my husband, I should start a cat/dog service so the pets can stay at home. Congrats to you! See you on Facebook.
Thanks. I did my first day at the trade show today and I was a little nervous about the response I might get. It was GREAT!! I did my research before I ventured into this and in my area there are dog sitters/walkers out the wahoo but only one other cat sitter and she works in an area about 20 km away so I don't think we would be stepping on each other's toes. I'm not a fan of boarding and it gets pricey if you have multiple pets.

Good luck with your new business! I checked out your website & it looks very professional. The one suggestion I have is for you to make your geographic area clear. I'm sure you are doing local outreach, but I was unable to find even a hint of your location. If you are near me, I'd absolutely consider using you!
Thanks for the well wishes. The map just appeared as one of the features on the site builder and I did not want to list my address on the website (a horrible stalking incident years ago involving my daughter still leaves a bad taste in my mouth). I will be visiting client's homes so my address is unnecessary. I did list it in the description and on the contact page as the Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario area.. But thanks for checking it out and your feedback is very much appreciated ... I'll give it some more thought.
But just saying "I will go to these areas" might make it more clear if you're available for those particular, prospective clients or not. No need to give exact address or even city. Just let people know how far you're willing to travel!

Oh, definitely you don't need to put your address on the page. I was just thinking something along the lines of: "serving the greater Wichita, Kansas area" or something. I couldn't find anything on the website that even identified a state!

Best of luck with your new business! I despise FB but I ventured over there and liked and left a pat pic for you :). When I retire from my job in a zillion years, I'll likely go to work PT for a local pet sitting business.
Yeah ... I used today I'd probably drop dead at my job ... funny how things change. Hope this thing takes off or I'll have to learn how to write a resume again. Or are they called CV now. OMG I'm old.
