The whole story felt differently told. Dryer and yeah, that's probably that Romney was uninteresting to me. Palin was fascinating because I'd been a fan of hers before the election, but like everyone else, I felt fooled by the glitz when I heard her actually speak or do interviews. It was weird because I was presented with this down home person and Game Change really gave me goose bumps with how much it revealed.
I felt like I didn't know Palin before the election and I'd had this idea of her that was untrue. I wasn't sure how much of it was the press and how much of it was real, because she was getting ripped apart. But Game Change really opened my eyes.
Double Down felt like stuff I already knew. And the writing was...meh. I do like Heilemann usually, but this whole thing was yeah, boring--like Mitt hah.
