I admit I should be using em dashes, but they're sort of a pain to type when the hyphen is so much easier. :)

Yes, and I still don't know what dash to use within a dialog bracket to indicate a speaker being cut off. I've been using ens... hmm...

This could be very useful, if Amazon would be consistent with their formatting. Em-dashes have come up as all sorts of things in books on my Kindle. I pity the authors who have no control over it.
