and how are you finding Nicholls? I was rather underwhelmed by 'One Day'

Pretty much the same as One Day, really. I did pick it up for that exact reason, a bit of throwaway fluff to pass the commute, but Brian isn't doing anything for me as a protagonist and the 'humour' isn't making me laugh. What it is managing though is that each time I put it down I then dredge up a number awful moments from university that I thought I'd successfully buried within my mind forever.
