Yip, Yip, Yip!! Love this book. I have to go buy it to put on my shelf (the bank account is not happy with me - I already splurged on books this month).
They frequently do buy the books that I suggest but I'm not sure whether it's late in the year budget-wise for them. Of course, sometimes they say no. They only consider books published in the last couple of years though.
If they don't buy it, then I'll have to decide how much I want to read it. :)
Pretty much every book I've suggested has come out with a few holds on it though, so obviously a few other people found the books interesting and I'm not being entirely selfish.
You have a nice library. My closest library acts more like a after school day care for teenagers and the librarians have no control. It's a place I choose to avoid if possible or pick my visiting times carefully.
The book was published last month I think - it's pretty new.
I live in a sizeable city with 30+ library branches. Some branches are noisier than others but they're normally fine. It's surprising just how many people use them though (they cart books between branches for free and so many of the branches are mainly used as a pick-up location).
