Thanks for reviewing this! When I started reading Star Trek novels earlier this year I had passed on these as it seemed too gimmicky, though perhaps I should reassess this.

They are not the best ST novels I've ever read but they were a quick, entertaining read when I wasn't in the mood for anything that needed extra thinking. They were apparently exciting enough for me to stay up past my bed-time and I'm not a fan of Kirk or DS9...so, it can't have been that bad.
