Aha, sorry. He's a dark elf, a Drow. He's famous in Dungeons and Dragons circles - he's R.A. Salvatore's most beloved creation. He uses a pair of scimitars, has blue-black or grey skin, and white hair. He's fairly awesome, and the way his most recent cover artist draws him, he looks really similar to this. :)
