II was psyched to hit 'one-click', but it doesn't look like it's up yet :(
woop! I just hit it to try, and now I've bought one! ha ha Well, I hopes it works for you soon! :)
You should be able to return it within seven days. Go to manage your account/digital content, and there's a drop down menu that includes returning because you hit one-click by accident. But I can't even find the book so far :(

...

Sighs. It's not showing up under Kindle books on your page yet. And I'm really, really slow today due to one of the worst migraines I've experienced yet.

I finally thought to search your name+dark victorian. Also, one clicked, yay!

And: http://www.amazon.com/Ice-Demon-Victorian-Penny-Dreads-ebook/dp/B00OT0P53Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1414193189&sr=1-1&keywords=watasin+ice+demon

For ease of one-clicking for others.
Thanks for the tip! I don't mind having it, it's good to review my stuff on the kindle. And thanks for buying. :) I click on the book image here, that's how I got to the 'buy' link. I'll be sure to put the link in the post from now on! :)
And I FORGOT about my Amz Author Page! Have added ICE DEMON, thanks for the reminder. I think we all need naps now.
For some reason, that wasn't giving me the Amazon link. Huh.

Anyway, link now. And I'm switching from my other book that I just started to finish up Bones - which I can now do without fear that I'll have to wait for the next book :D

ETA: I'm now seeing the buy link on BL. I think BL was just being slow for me earlier! So sorry about the confusion. I feel like I can at least type, though, which is a major improvement from when I first woke up. It was one of those 'not able to talk properly' days -_-

On the other hand, ending with this book? Just what I needed!
Thanks! And I hope you feel better, that's rotten having to deal with migraines. :( Ice Demon, though, is not quite the continuation to the main story arc. It's a penny dread running along side the main story, which is set in spring, 1880. Because I wanted to do a winter 'holiday' special (didn't quite hit 'christmas' with this one), Ice Demon is set quite a few months after BONES. I hope that doesn't mess up your enjoyment!
Probably won't. I like the story, and if it's set within continuity or in the past/future is less important to me than that it doesn't screw around with the continuity. (Continuity errors drive me bonkers, but I adore Autocracy, Monstrosity and expect to enjoy Primacy despite it being way, way before the current series I'm reading. Then again, that trilogy takes great pains to fit into the IDW Transformers continuity. I've ripped apart a novel I was looking forward to, however, for not fitting into another of the continuities...)

I think you're careful enough to make sure that things don't suddenly not match what came before that it shouldn't be an issue, though. (I'm trying to think of 'in the future/running along the main story' things that I might have enjoyed. I'm only coming up with supernatural where they go forward a couple months to a year between seasons. Or the Buffy comics which ran alongside the TV show when it was still on air - the old Dark Horse ones, pre the series continuing via the IDW comics.)

And thank you. I'm feeling much much better now, although clearly still not at 100%. The pain is manageable, although I was describing it as two drills working in the side of my head earlier. (I've always thought the proper writer could do something with that, especially since I felt like there was a keening whine that accompanied that and my vision going slightly wonky earlier. Feel free to nab the image if you so desire. I'm not likely to do anything with it either than bitch/describe the migraines myself.)

As it is, I'm only about 10% or so in Bones, so I probably won't be letting you know for a week or so! (Assuming I don't get flightily and pick up TF: Exiles again. 'Cos I'm not having trouble getting into it again.)
