Thanks for the reblog.

BTW, a couple issues after this volume? Two alien girls kiss! So you might want to check this series out if you haven't already, because it has LGBT representation. And Jackie? She's fierce! (Even her girlfriend said so!)
Excellent. I'll have to bookmark, etc. I haven't had time to read my Ms (?) Marvel, and the new Wonder Woman '77, and i think I picked up the first Saga. But it's GREAT there's all these good comics. :D I also want to read the new Ghost Rider you reviewed and the new Silver Surfer.
XD The problem is I adore Marvel, so I'll probably be squeeing about them all.

Of course, I spent $100, and I get to read for free, and 15% off the newer ones/stuff that isn't on Unlimited. So it's cheaper than buying everything. And like I said in the Surfer review, I believe, I'm not despising the reader right now!

But, also, yes, Marvel is doing great on representation: diversity, strong characters of color, and strong characters with disabilities, and strong women. I'm pretty damn happy with them right now. So long as they don't wave the Game of Thrones Secret Wars reboot - aka, them /killing off everyone I love/, then I'm still happy with them.

This is long overdue isn't it? After all, almost half the readership/fan base of comics is female, and attendance at Comic-Con is about the same percentage. With great power comes great responsibility. Good for Marvel!
Yes, yes it is!

I was talking to my sister about the Captain Marvel movie, so hopefully they'll be more female representation in the movies coming soon.
