I know how you feel, Els! This was my least favorite of the series, it was confusing and a bit brutal with all the fighting and everything. But they DO improve! I read the whole series, and then later re-read, but with audio. I bumped up my rating for Catch a Ghost from 3,5 to 4. It's like, getting to know Tom and Prophet more in the series made me appreciate Catch a Ghost more when re-reading it. So go on, happy reading. Hopefully ;)

It's like More Heat than the Sun, take two. The first book is off putting, but continuing will reward you. At least, that's my take.
