I have to say that I complete agree about disliking these characters and not finding them sympathetic in the least. I also gave this one 2 stars.
I have a couple of other Sarah Waters books in my TBR and I will read them at some point, hoping that at least a few of the characters will be sympathetic.
I think I will wait to see what you think before I decide to read another:-)
