I haven't read Whitney because I heard about that. Not surprisingly my mother really likes that one, despite it. Generally speaking, when she recommends a romance to me I run, but I do like McNaught's stuff for the most part. The sad thing about Jordan is I think he's probably one of the more tolerable historical leads.

I only vaguely remember that one. I read Almost Heaven, and I remember the hero being a bit of a jerk in that one too. Honestly, my favorite book of hers is without a doubt Paradise which is a contemporary followed by its companion sequel Perfect.
