Nicely done :)
I have to pick up some Barbara Michaels bks, so I can least read something I like. No, I am afraid my reading month wasn't all that great. o_O Hey, June has to be better!
That's something I've been looking into a bit. I like the *idea*, but audio books and I don't always get along (I'm super picky regarding voices and I resent the fact that it takes so much longer than just reading the book myself. :x )
I'm going to have to sort out getting Overdrive working on my computer so that I can give some e-books from the library a try.
I felt much the same as you about audio books--they take too long and I wasn't sure I'd like the voices--but then I found I could "read" books while I drive and, wow, it's a whole new world. It give me an extra book or 2 every month. Your library may also have CDs if you don't want to sort out Overdrive until you're sure you'd like it. I often use audio books to re-read novels I've loved but never seem to have time to get back to.
Hmmm, "reading" while driving might be a nifty thing. I hadn't even thought about CDs--I must admit that although I frequent my library, I've kind of shifted to e-books and hadn't even thought to check and see what their physical audio book selection might look like.
My library lists the CDs with the physical books when you search their catalog online, and then I can put a hold on any I want so they're waiting for me when I get there. It's almost enough to make me feel guilty. I'm guessing your library would be set up in a similar way. The Overdrive method is great too because then you can put the audiobook on your mp3 player without ever leaving your home.
I haven't looked at the physical catalog in an awfully long time, shamefully enough. :x I bet my library does that too, though; definitely worth a check.

Sometimes you hit a bad stretch; I was lucky enough to hit a good one, which probably means I'll pay for it down the road somewhere...
