Oh, I'm sure I'll be reading several more haunted house stories, haha. It is probably one of my favorite horror tropes. That one is actually on the list--how are you liking it so far? I've heard good things, but have somehow never read it/seen the film.

I read the Amityville Horror at an impressionable age and it scared me so bad I had to sleep in the guestroom next to my parents for a month. I was too afraid to sleep in my own bedroom (it was in the basement, my parents were upstairs).

Not sure what it says about me that that just moved the book farther up my list, but there you go.
