That he does! I find I love Sanderson's writing even if his books are mediocre. He's really creative and there's always something fascinating with the worlds he creates. This short story is on my reading list as well, so it's good to know it's enjoyable even if not the best. That's kind of how I felt about Steelheart, but I hope the rest of the trilogy is as great as many others feel it is!

Yea I was surprised but how many people disliked Steelheart. For me it was a rather good 'superhero' or 'mutant' book - I'm sure it falls into at least one

If you haven't already, i recommend Legion & The Emperors Soul. Both completely unique to anything I've read before

I plan on continuing with the Reckoners series, and i hope the rest is at least as good if not better than the first! but because its BS i think he wont let me down ;)
