Ukrainian. I came up blank when I tried to think of a name. Always embarrassing to recognise your own ignorance. Oops. Names are fascinating.
I discovered that when I love a character, my subconscious wants to re-use the name. Like Callum from NCIS LA :)

Those Russians! My mum's side of the family is Polish. Bit of a similar story :)
