LMAO The Monster was my favorite book as a kid and you made me laugh because I bought it a couple years ago for myself too. Its sitting proudly on my bookshelf right now

I'm still excited that I have a copy of it! I bought the sequel as well, which has Elmo... not great.

I'm not a fan of Elmo. There is just something magical about this book
